ITINERARY
Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best night stops and highlights. However, as local conditions and passenger requests vary, no two trips will ever be the same. With the guidance of your Trek Leader you may modify certain nightstops and highlights to give a truly unique experience!
Days: Week 1 New York area - 2 days Washington DC - Carolinas - Charleston - St Augustine - 2 days Florida Keys
What better start than the nation's capital, Washington D.C.?! Learn the country's history through museums, monuments, memorials and the Mall. South to the charm of Charleston before heading into the warmth of the Florida sun and sea.

Days: Week 2 Everglades National Park - 3 days Orlando - Panama Beach - 2 days New Orleans
Bask on the beach at St. Augustine, splash in the surf of the Keys, wonder at the wildlife of the Everglades, and discover Disneyworld. Everybody's favourite Southern city is next, New Orleans - home to non-stop jazz and nightlife.

Days: Week 3 Texas - 2 nights San Antonio - Del Rio - Carlsbad National Park - Santa Fe - Colorado Rockies
You may never want to leave, but four amazing days and nights in the great state of Texas await your visit. The National Parks of New Mexico and Utah, the mountains of Colorado, and the Indian Lands of Arizona are the perfect introduction to the wonders of the Southwest.

Days: Week 4 Colorado Rockies - 2 days Arches National Park - Monument Valley - 2 days Grand Canyon - Lake Powell
Go on a jeep tour with the Navajos in Monument Valley, before exploring the sheer splendour of Grand Canyon National Park.Then cool off in the clear blue waters of Lake Powell, with time to rest and relax.

Days: Week 5 Bryce Canyon - Arches National Park - 2 days Las Vegas - 2 days San Diego - 2 nights Los Angeles
Hiking and photo opportunities abound in the awe-inspiring Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks of southern Utah. Canyon dust gives way to desert glitz in the incomparable Las Vegas. Catch a show, a limo or a casino and let the neon and nightlife dazzle you. Move on and mellow out in Southern California's playground, San Diego, SeaWorld Adventure Park, the Zoo and beaches beckon before heading up the coast to the City of Angels, Los Angeles.

Days: Week 6 Pacific Coast - 2 days Yosemite National Park - 2 days San Francisco - 2 days Redwood National Park
Along the spectacular Pacific Coast to Yosemite National Park to hike among the giant sequoias and the breathtaking beauty of the Sierra Nevadas. Then on to San Francisco - Fisherman's Wharf and the oriental delights of Chinatown. Nightlife, baseball, cable cars and shops fill your visit. Next, explore Redwood National Park before heading to Seattle.

Days: Week 7 Oregon - Seattle - Vancouver - British Columbia - 2 days Banff National Park - Lake Louise
Cross the Canadian border into Vancouver - North on the Yellowhead Highway to the fantastic scenery of Banff National Park and Lake Louise in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Walk on the Columbia Icefields, or canoe on a wilderness lake.

Days: Week 8 Glacier National Park - Montana - 2 days Yellowstone National Park - Cody, Wyoming - Black Hills
On to the beauty of Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks - wildlife and geysers - to the rodeo town of Cody and the cowboy town of Deadwood.

Days: Week 9 South Dakota - Minnesota - 2 days Chicago - Ohio - Niagara Falls - Finger Lakes - New York area
Travelling East through the famed Black Hills and the Sioux Indian lands of Badlands National Park, we reach the "Windy City", Chicago, famous for music, museums and Lake Shore Drive. Around the bottom of the Great Lakes to the thundering waters of Niagara Falls, where your Maid of the Mist boat ride will get you up close and personal with this great natural wonder. Leaving the Great Lakes area, wind on down to the smaller but picturesque Finger Lakes region, before winding back up to where it all began in the New York area.

Tour ends at 18:00 hrs in the New York area on day 64.
2010 ITINERARY CHANGES
For 2010 departures we will no longer be visting the Finger Lakes Region. This will be replaced by an extra day in Yoho National Park in British Columbia.
There will also be a change to the itinerary between days 6 and 12 as follows.

Day 7/8). Florida Keys
Day 9/10). Orlando
Day 11/12). Panama Beach
