HL2 expansion

Well that sucks donkey balls. I just covered about 10 miles and NO shops have it. Still on the April issue, but that article says its out :mad:

still havent got round to playin/downloading it. i ustm dont think it will appeal to me. im not a fan of single player games.

I'm not either, but this game is so emmersive and interactive that you almost don't feel like ur playing a single player game.... You really need a pumped up graphics card to get the full effect.

I played through it twice but then I managed to delete it off of my HDD when I formatted it (bloody MSI board!)...now I'm playing it back through again....so much detail in this game.... :eek: :D :worship:
 
I like Far Cry's gameplay better than HL2 but that might just be me.

AI in Far Cry is insane and the environment is so bright and pruuuuuuuuuty with clear ocean beaches and green forests and lots of idiot mercenaries to kill/blow up :D .

I find Farcry more challenging than HL2....although on hard HL2 is fairly hard!

The AI is good in Farcry but the immersion in HL2 is better.

The action movie-stylee gameplay is over-the-top and fun in Farcry!!

Basically both games are great....but maybe HL2 wins for me! :worship:

I haven't had a chance to play a lot of Far Cry, I played about 30 mins of it at a friends house and it was ok, but it didn't look as good as it should've because of his gay comp / gfx card.

HL2 wins it for me :)

OH my god Frag....you haven't got Farcry? Its bloody brilliant looking. I love the looks of the game - lush! Get it and play it properley! Make sure you get the 1.3patch tho - looks better still!

HL2 wins....just! :D :worship:

Farcry is gay. Why? Stealth Trigen. Even Trigen at all, why did the developers have to ruin what was shaping up to be a good game with stupid monsters. If they had left it just you vs mercs it would have been a lot better recieved, because no one makes FPS games without monsters these days. It would have been almost unique.
