High temps on H100i

So I have my 3770k overclocked at 4.5GHZ with a VCore of 1.24, I have only tested for an hour or so but it seems stable, I will leave it overnight to make sure.

But I have noticed something worrying, here is the temps

And this was after only 30 seconds or so of the test runnning.

Would I not be right in saying that they are pretty high?

H100i fans are on Balanced

Edit : Ambient temp is only 13c atm so Delta is like 72c on the 2nd core, that is massively high

What do you have your pll at ? I heard dropping it to around 1.6 can lower temps...

It was on Defualt, I have just tried it at 1.6, temps were no different, I then put the H100i fans on MAX and got this -

From what I have seen, for only 1.24v and the fans on max, the temps should be much lower

All cpu's are different, do a stock run and see what the temps are to rule any problems with the h100i.

yes, they should be lower.. only an 8° delta on fan speed alone.
do you still have any stock results with the H100i or stock with undervolt results?
and this is the delidded CPU?

13° ambient to 60.5° for a 47.5° delta differing from a 67° OC. hummmm quite
a difference.

pump speed still 2200rpm+? strange noises pump/controller?
is the H100i softie temps coinciding with the realtemp?

The fans were still at max(2200rpm) for this run, Link, Realtemp and HWMonitor all report the same temps

The H100i is very loud, I was messing about with some stuff the other day and had the stock cooler on for an hour or so and when the H100i went back on it was just so much louder, even with the fans on quiet the pump is pretty loud, not really strange noises though

either the TIM app from Intel is showing its ass, the CPU is weakening, or the H100i
is dumping. got a NH-D14 to slap on it real quick?

... eeeewwwww!

ok, i dunna know where to go now..

well deffo underclock/volt to a more comforatble temperature until a solution is
found for this issue.

fans are H100i controlled or molex/voltage adapter

maybe for grins go direct to molex. since the H100i fans are 4-pin might be a harder
hook up unless you have a 4-pin fan harness to sacrifice to the nerd gods..
Tom mentioned that sometime the "voltage" isnt as "rated" going through controllers,
softies and what-not. a direct connect could be helpful.
i know my mobo control is short in voltage by .625v for WOT ops.
if i wire the helix 120s direct my fan speed is 1850-1890rpm, mobo control 100%
gives me only 1700-1750rpm (as reported)
