High Guys,

Long time since I had a decent rig, I just got a 7700k and Asus Z270i.
For cooling I'm using a Kraken X52 and all is housed in NZXT Manta.
Gpu side, i'm running a EVGA 1080ti SC Black.

At the moment im running stock delidded but I still feel the temps are high.

Looking at the vcore in OCCT its being fed 1.2v whilst running the CPU:Linpack AVX test using all cores and temps are a toasty 74c. Unfortunately when I bought the cpu I used the shops deliding service so I dont have any non delidded temps to compare to.

TTL says never leave the cpu vcore on auto in the bios as it will be given to many volts so how do I find out this cpus stock voltage ?

Also, non avx stress test only reaches 61c

Start at the 1.2v and start lowering and testing until it starts failing. then bump up until stable.

once ya got stock Freq' stable start to bump up the multiplier until unstable, then add more Voltage.

until temps are too high, (1.4v seems to be absolute max v)

In fact, I took the cpu back to the shop who delidded and it turns out they messed up on the delid , the ihs was off center and the liquid metal was poorly applied. They redelided it and I'm now running at 5ghz 1.325v bios and with LLC at level 4 which show as 1.37v in cpuz under load. Temps are hitting 72c max now with AVX enabled.
