I'm trying to decide into buying a new Motherboard, and with that comes a new CPU and ram, because i haven't upgraded my PC for years.

now, i decided between these two either a ASUS Rampage III Extreme, or ASUS Sabertooth X5. Now i know that I'm buying an i7 970 core, and the Mushkin 12gb enhanced blackline ram. ooo and I want to know whether a Notcua NH-D14 would fit in there nicely.

Because Tom said in his review that's one of the best air cooling cpu heatsink ever.

it's black and red? looks amazing in a themed rig?....really though I'm using the sabertooth atm it's a great motherboard. That said I'm not an extreme user which is what the rampage series is for.

the NH-d14 very good choice the ram should fit thare ok i think

Sabertooth will be the way to go. It will save you some money aswell. The Rampage III Extreme is imho only for people with extreme water / liquid nitrogen cooling. And yes the D14 will fit fine aswell.
