Help with phase

Okay;

have been set a tast to do a fairly cheap phase change rig; can anyone advise how much more power they will draw than air/watercooling and what sort of ££'s I would need to set this up for the person;

I have heard of prometia mach II's but they seem to be a bit expensive

Phase units have their own power supply... Are you wanting to buy one that is pre built? If so, 350-550 squid sounds about right.

350-550 is about right, power draw is generally around 250 to 300 watts.

I dont quite understand what your asking.

Building a phase yourself is very costly. The tools are the problem, Mine is running in about £500. And £300 for that at least is tools/gases.

To buy one the vapochill or mach's ant bad. Although they're being murdered by certian moden high end CPUs.

Best bet imo would be to contact an already established builder and see if they have one they're willing to sell or will build you one.

Im UK and was looking at the OCZ Cryo-Z or the Prometia Mach II - how much trouble would it cause for one of you gusy in the US to ship to me...

I know its expensive and really dont feel able to build it myself

OCZ unit is still in R&D - final UK price is bound to be higher due to insaine shipping duties on pressuriesed units (as commented in the discussion of the article ) so at the moment the OCZ is a no go!

You can get phase in the UK no probs! Would you like a link to sellers? I beleive someone thew a load together already...

Ham also gave me two names a while ago - Gray Mole and Johann. They are members of xtremesystem - you would need to register and PM them. They would build you one for £350-£450. Grey Mole is UK based, Johann is Europe.
