Help with DPC Latency

The latest release of LatencyMon has apparently fixed them issues, already disabled the startup items I found my latency goes down if the Corsair Link, Geforce experience, Chrome notification software... Although when I start a game the latency goes way up again, all my drivers are up to date... Even tried rolling back some to see if there was change with no luck... as far as I can tell it's specifically to do with the DirectX and Nvidia drivers.

Well, it could be the nVidia driver, but not necessarily, it could be something that runs in conjunction with it that is causing the problem. When you re-installed the driver, did you do a custom installation? If you didn't; Do a clean driver installation, but don't install GeForce Experience and all the rest, just the driver, see if that works.

I see that you use Windows 10, you can try and disable the feature that allows you to take in-game screenshots, do recordings etc, you can find it under the X-Box settings. You will have to use your MS account in order to access those settings though. (Stupid, I know) ;)

Ah yes and erm, if you don't mind, attach a screenshot for us displaying your startup items?

I realise that it could be something else causing it, I did do a custom installation take a look at previous comments to see what I did.
Already disabled the Xbox features.

I've already done so much, I just can't find this problem it's starting to annoy me... I did update the BIOS and at default settings it lowers the latency a lot, but guess what it goes back up when I play a game...

I have a 8 core processor overclock preset that is put there for my specific processor by Asus, but the latency is higher with it... How does that work??

Mmmm, I know this might seem a bit extreme, but have you tried formatting your machine and doing a clean installation with Windows 10?

I myself didn't have any problems with the upgrade process, but I never liked doing "upgrades" because it could cause things like this.

Yes twice

:O

Well, I can see now why you are frustrated, you pretty much tried everything. I dunno if you tried installing everything one by one, while checking each time what your DPC latency is? After the clean install of Windows I mean. If the DPC latency is like that right after a clean OS install, I might just start to think it could be hardware related.

I think if it's going to be anything it's going to be one of the drivers for the motherboard, because before I upgraded my hardware it was fine, then when I upgraded it I had to install the drivers as nothing could be found via Windows, especially while I couldn't download the drivers automatically as I couldn't use the NIC or the wlan.

Well, sorry I couldn't be of more help to you, if I think of something else, I will post here. In the meantime, keep at it, google searches might get you an answer we weren't able to give.

Haha tried that too... It's a last resort posting to a forum for me.
