Help with controller!

Hey guys!

Just brought the Xbox 360 controller for PC.

Everything is fine apart from San andreas can't reconise the second analog stick.. Is there anyway around this?

really would like help!

Ah man, if you where using a cable and a regular Xbox controler with XBCD id be able to help you. sorry.

I have almost got it sorted!

I just need to know how to get the d-pad to be different to the analog.. (same game)

Not really.

Just came with drivers..

It should work with any Xbox controler. From what i was led to believe the programing they used for the 360 controler should be almost the same cause its based off the same design. Not to mention, XBCD is pretty much the same as Windows game controler options cept meant to detect Xbox controlers. Give it a shot, wont hurt nothing if it dosent work.

I can't seem to get it to work with XBCD??!?!

I have downloaded the XBCD 360 drivers.. But they won't find the controller!?!

Have you tried taking the drivers that came with it out, unplug the controler, install XBCD, then plug the controler back in?

EDIT and if it still dosent work after that, just try and use the update drivers ability in Windows and show it where the XBCD 360 drivers are?

Got it working fine!

San andreas is perfecto!

But now I need to make a profile for the other games.. Seeing as they all muck up now!

Anywho, GET THIS CONTROLLER! It is awesome! San andreas play like a 3rd person shooter, but now on a "gamepad"!

And it feel like I have a 360 now! -huggles PC-

PP, if you do get one. Install the Microsoft drivers and then update them to XBCD.. Works best!

Sorry for double post!

@PP - I have now configured every game. All working fine.

You just have to make loads of profiles.

Anywho if you do get a controller XBCDs xbox tab has errors with the Xbox360 controller so doesn't display properly.

I think mircosoft are working on a USB dongle thingy!

But I like wires, very reliable and no batterys.

Yea, but the wireless 360 controlers can be recharged with your USB, very boss indeed. Also, usualy you dont need to make a profile on XBCD. You just install program, plug controler in, program controler through game.

You cna do that, but XBCD mucks up the normal config.

So if you have a game like Raonbow six Vegas and the only option in the menu is use xbox360 controller your in trouble.

Plus San andreas needs tweaking to get it to work with the Z axis.
