Good morning everyone (that helps :p)

Well i finally put together my first watercooling loop on my Stacker case yey! and was expecting some amazing temps so that i can OC but not only was i far from good temps, they had also increased over my last cooling heatsink which was the Thermal ULtra 120 extreme

Heres my loop

Res > Pump > Rad > CPU Block

New > used > New> Used

Some Dual Bay Res > Laing Vario pump > TFC Xchanger 120 rad > D-Tek V1 Block

Well my temps went from being on 35'c Oc on ait to them being 43'c on stock watercooled :S??

Any help ideas on how to improve my temps or what may be wrong i would really appreciate it anyones input

thanks all

EDIT: WHAT PARTS ARE NEW AND USED :)

A very simple fix is to take the machine outside and blow all the dust out of the radiator.

Either using your own breath or a can of compressed air. ;)

Should cut the temps down a bit as dust is an insulator.

Are your max temps the same or higher, or lower?

The temps above are on idle with abit of Surfing and music

The max temps i have had on stock are about the same or + 5'C but when i had it OC to same settings as when on air temp increase was like + 10-20'c

Also i should of added what parts are new and used My Rad is brand new :(

My guess is the rad cant cope.. get a bigger rad?

wow :(

does the orientation of the rad matter cos i have it upside down :)?

and how fast the pump is pushing the fluid? i have it on max should i slow it down or is that good :D?

noob questions :P

fast is good....

Erm, Im not sure, But i do think upright is better..

i have the barbs at the top bleed hole at the bottom i was told that this is upside down lool :S

im gnna try stick a fan behind it aswell so a push and pull system hope that helps if not ill change my block to another that i have

if any1 has any ideas or what they would do in my situation please share :worship:

Yea i done that :D before i put the loop together was fool of like hair and weird things lool

i might open the bleed hole and see if any air comes out maybe theirs abit stuck

I would get a bigger rad, a Quad under a 240mm rad is a bit of a strain on the rad IMO.

lol, a single can handle a quad :P

But as he rightly said, a dual is more adequate.

Haha I thought that he had a 240mm... Sorry guys I am quite tired.

A Quad on a 120mm rad. is a lot of work.. up it to a 240mm or even 360mm if you want to do the job right :D
