Hi there, i am looking to buy a gaming PC case and its components (as i have monitor and all peripherals already) with a budget approx 650 GBP i would be thankful if any of you could drop me some suggestions or maybe someone has built already one in the same price range? I dont want to look in currys/pcworld as they have overpriced stuff in there.

No overclocking will be done with this PC. Style or colors doesnt mater, all i care about is performance.

Best Regards.

See how this works for you, it ain't gonna be a pretty girl but she's going to handle every game smoothly. Now for an OS I recommend reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap/ it's going to cost you 20 pounds for a windows 10 license.

Storage wise you can salvage the hdd from your old PC. 240GB will work just fine if you have a few games installed at a time untill you save some more and buy a 1TB drive.

I have checked your GPu sample and i found alternative

Checked on benchmark.com and it shows better performance. I kind if trust more in nvidia. Did i miss something good on your provided card?

Don't do it.

It's older tech and has less VRAM. And it doesn't perform better than the 480 either, not where it counts in Vulkan and DX12. And those will be the most important thing to you as time passes, given that DX11 will now be phased out over the next couple of years.

Nvidia are also known for driver degradation (IE cards get slower with newer drivers) so I would not recommend you buy the 970. If you want Nvidia then get the cheapest 1060 you can get your hands on, otherwise avoid.
