I'm currently on the market for a nice new 19" lcd monitor that's gamer friendly (which most havent been until recently).

I have a few picked out and I'm trying to decide between them. Please don't offer any "other" options UNLESS they meet the following criteria:

-19"

-12ms response time

-DVI Input

-1280x1024 res.

Here are my current picks:

Sceptre X9g-Gamer - $385.99 (My current top choice... I've owned a couple of Sceptre CRT's and they were sooooo awesome)

Acer AL1914smd - $339

BenQ FP937s - $392

Which one would you take?

You have no where to put it mate. Mmmmm how old is the little one. You could use her room for storing the monitor and she could sleep on the sofa. BUT the mrs will :flamed: you i thinl. hahah

I always thought you where a CRT man. But i suppose if you want to go 19 you will have to go TFT as they are MASSIVE.

Why not just get a 17" TFT. I have one and its just about right.

Trust me i'm a CRT man, and probably always will be, but with the current inception of 12ms response TFT's, i'm dieing to get one for my rig so I can save some desk space, my 19" crt is ginourmous and weighs 800 lbs....

I just wanna check out these new low response TFT's, i hear they're really nice and great for gaming.

Hrmmm, add the 17" 8ms reponse ViewSonic lcd to the list... It looks quite nice and also has an appealing price tag.

I like the hugeness of a 19" viewable area though... choices choices choices

I have a 17" TFT and it rocks. Switching from CRT to that was great - especially with the space in my room here - damn I don't miss my 6 stone CRT one bit!!

TFT's rock for gaming!! :worship:

Hell yeah! I've decided on a monitor different from all of the ones I originally listed.

I'm now going with the Hyundai ImageQuest L90D+ 8ms 19" :D Totally sicktastic monitor from out space :worship:

Do you know what they are expected to be priced at during initial market launch?

I'll look into it but I'm sure it's going to carry a hefty price tag when it first comes out since everyone and there mom will be jones'n for one.

With any lick the release will drive down the price of LCD's even further :D

I just put down a bid on a Hyundai L90D+ on Ebay and I have the high bid at $275 with a day to go, we'll see where it gets :)
