It's very tricky posting on forums from a mobile, but I definitely will go to Aria forums. Meanwhile PM'd Aria_Rawz. The turnaround from when I sent the board till today (I bl***y hope they are sending it today) is 9 days, but will be 12 if I get the board on Monday. It's not really the turnaround time I have a problem with, but the customer services team who are simply useless.
And I don't think I should count myself lucky if a got a replacement for a faulty product. You see, I work in technology sales myself (not going to name the company) and a vast majority of our sales is on items above £200 and we provide a faulty exchange for 28 days after sale without any questions asked. And because customer services is my bread, I was absolutely shocked with it at Aria.
I've heard reports of people buying from Scan, having a fault PCIE lane or similar on a board, shipping the board back, and Scan suddenly refusing to honour any warranty because a pin was bent on the cpu socket...that's bad customer service for you. Of course - if you spend the extra money and get 'Scansure' then it covers it...
I've never had to RMA to Aria before, but IMO, 9/12 days turnaround - less including weekends is still a pretty good time, regardless of whether their employees are on their lunch break. I've had to wait far longer for products from dabs to be accepted and refunded/replaced, and if they cant ship out a new one instantly then that's just something you kind of have to accept.
RMAs are never fun regardless of what company you're with - apart from ebuyer - because I'm pretty sure the repairs people there dont actually test the items, they just sit there with an 'accepted' ink stamp. Seriously, I've returned motherboards to them which after sending, I've realised the fault was with something else, meaning the board worked perfectly fine, and they still accepted it. I have a graphics card with cap whine in with them atm, nothing majorly wrong, although the cap whine is ridiculous, it's still not really a fault. But anyway, I wouldnt mark down a company for not sending out a new product from RMA as soon as you want them to because things just dont work like that. It is just unlucky, but I'm sure Aria are normally better than that.
It matters more to me how companies put themselves out before sales - like offering free postage to everyone on OC3D, and when I bought my rig, there was a deal4today that I missed out on by a couple of days, and they still gave it to me for £10 cheaper.
Anyway, unlucky, but I'm sure they'll try and sort things out for you
