help if you would not mind nvidia 580 vs 670

hi all i am now looking at buying a graphic card and was hoping you all would not mind helping as in which one would you buy out the too

i am now just getting to all this gaming on pc and will be starting of lightly so i was hoping you all could tell me is there much difference between the too please all be very truth full please

if there is not much in it i would rather save the money and get a 580 thanks for your time guys

The 580 wont quite be able to get 60 FPS on most games (around 55fps on BF3 for example)

The 670 can get around 70-75, which is a fair bit.

You can also overclock both, so the 580 would be able to get over 60FPS on the majority of games, but then again, the 670 will overclock far higher and so is the better choice really.
What kind of prices can you get them for?

The 670 is also far more efficient (can run SLI off a 650w PSU) so could be far more beneficial in the future if you want to upgrade

I'd say get the 670

right ok well i am buying second hand as cheap and will get more for the money i just dont no if i am going to use it as much as i think and dint wont to waste the money

That is 1080p (1920x1080)

And Andrew - you sure that isnt because it's overclocked?
I've just looked up a benchmark that says it'll do 55fps @ stock at 1080p

i let a pair of evga 580 slip by for $400 (drats!) so it can be done if you plan and budget.
even some of the older AMD 68xx/69xx cards are worth buying for $125-$200.
its mainly a question of affordability and necessity. does playing at 75fps cost $200 over
45fps? you can answer that one...

right ok well i have just out my xbox 360 on my monitor and it is mint and as i spend time there i fort i would build a better gaming rig even tho i will be playing with a xbox 360 controller lol i still will be better and worth every penny

will i see a big diffrence in game play between the two

and as for money i have said to my self no more than how ever much a 670 will cost me as i think it would be a wast to buy a 680 at this point in time

You have absolutely no chance on BF3 playing with a controller.

You really need to be using keyboard and mouse on PC to stand any chance against everyone else who will be using K&M too...

You definitely wont regret getting the 670.
And it is worth you doing yes - gaming on PCs is a whole new world to consoles
