At the end of the year I'm turning 40, and have decided to do something about my fitness, to help with my chest problems. After my divorce 6 years ago, I ended up in a bad way living in a tent for almost 2 years, whilst in the tent I was taken into hospital 7 times, and on the 8th I was kept in for 2 months, with double pneumonia, and several blood clots on my right lung, along with having a blood loss problem and at one point I only had 3.2 units left, if I hadn't have been kept in they said I probably would have died within a week.
So 6 years have past and I'm settled, and in a good place, but the pneumonia, and clots, has cause me to have, pulminary and vascular hypertension, which makes exercise a bit harder than most, so after a few weeks of saving a treated myself to a new mountain bike, And to make the whole getting off my arse and peddling like the clappers, a bit more enjoyable, I need to invest in a half decent set of in ear headphones.
I've only got a small budget of about £20 - £30 and will be running them through my phone just out of keeping my pockets empty whilst riding. The only criteria is a full in line control, the mic isn't a must but would be nice to have. So far I have looked at loads, and a couple have jumped out at me, but I no nothing about in ears at all, so they might be crap.
I don't listen to one type of music really, but at a push the top 3 genres would be rock/metal, with an electro beat, along the lines of Korn, Rob Zombie, RHCP, hard bouncy techno, and hip hop.
