I want to build a pc for about 400$ CAN. I want to use an AMD processor and have maybe a gig of ram, but if too expencive than 512 will do just fine. I want to run windows xp without too many lag issues. Anyone have any reccomendations on the parts to use that arent too expencive but will be alright for general use.

Tom M.? thats cool but hes not gonna get nething too good rofl.. because like my video card would be like worth his whole computer lol.. and my video card sucks compared to everyone elses around here lol... btw im AK, im not Anthrax anymore lol.. everyone should just call me scottie, it works out like 20 times better. :)

Well if it is for Tom it shouldn't be too hard to build a cheap one. He is not big into gaming so a refurb computer would work out great.
