Hi all, I have found some pretty solid and once or twice almost life saving advice from OC3D over the years and decided I might as well register and see if I can give a little back. I have loved computers since I was about 8 years old and 13 years on I love them even more. Just thought it would be polite to introduce myself

haha years ago when I got my very first computer, it was a hand down from my folks and I was a complete newbie to the hardware end of things. I also had dial up so research was tricky. And I dared not touch the insides of my very precious computer until a few years later when I wanted to upgrade the graphics, ram and CPU. And at least I think it was on OC3D, there was thread about completely frying your system if incompatible parts were put in and the dangers of residual PSU discharge. And that same computer is still running smoothly today!
