Totally need a new 'card :l. I'd get another one if this was the 7870xt, not the other one.

Just wanted to compare my score from my desktop PC and my laptop.
The desktop is based on a 3770K with 2 GTX670 SLI and the laptop is the Alienware 18 based on 4900MQ and 2 GTX780M SLI.

Obviously my already aged desktop still beat my new and beasty Alienware laptop

I have to say I was a bit disappointed when I saw the difference in Blacklight Retribution, the Alienware 18 is trailing behind my desktop and it makes me wonder if I have some issue on the Alienware or not!?

I think there could be, your Alienware is beastly, what sort of FPS do you get in games?

Oh well it may be that Blacklight code is not optimized for mobile GPU and CPU.
I just installed Metro Last Light and it plays absolutely great and smooth on the Alienware 18.
Haven't check the FPS yet though... but it's gorgeous
