How long until graphics card makers start using HDMI outputs instead of DVI?

The latest monitors have HDMI inputs, Whats delaying ATI and nVidia from making the change

I'm aware of the connectors but I haven't seen any GTX200's or 4870's with them. If you know of any could ya post a link.

because i believe they assume only media junkies with their HDTV's want it

and those who want high end cards, usually want dual displays

not tv's

so they provide the adapter incase they do

would be my theory anyway..

9800GX2's have HDMI Outputs.

I swear DVI is better anywho?

I'm not much of a fan of this HD craze which is going on at the moment.

HD this HD that... but these resolutions have been around for years with PC monitors. Oh and I don't think the PC ever got a scart lead on the GPU for the last gen stuff so why do we need HDMI?

And Bloomerz is correct the 9800GX2 does have HDMI.
