are hard drive coolers worth it? like once i get my computer up and running properly with a new psu and i start playing games keeping my hard drive cool is that a real big issue?
name='sai_jao' said:depends on you hdd/case temps if ur Hdd or case is over 40C get a hdd cooler in there ASAP; else not really , UNLESS you have a maxtor hard disk asthey run quite hot and there is a chip on the base of maxtors called the 'SMOOTH' chip which does not react well to heat (known to short @ relativley low temps) personaly if i did not have a 80MM fan causing cool air to flow over my maxtor HDD i would have a dedicated HDD cooing solution

name='sai_jao' said:centurion yayaya!!!! same as me they a nice case but really needsa 92MM fan dremeled into the back of it , a 120MM blow hole and a 120mm intake as well as that thos damn fan grills need to be dremeled out stock fan config is so so crap (the cent 5 has good coolin tho) take off the side of the case to see ur temps drop like well a led zeppelin ))
