Forgive me if I'm wrong I'm not familiar with those EK gpu blocks, but won't having them piped together in the configuration you have there reduce the flow that actually goes through the blocks?

Edit : nevermind had a proper look and realised my mistake. I do like the way the double link between the gpus looks

It's a parallel configuration for the GPU blocks. It works extremely well compared to a serial configuration where the coolant flows through one GPU into the other.

Hi

I am trying out Red coolant and seeing how it looks with the system and the wiring. There are still a lot of micro bubbles in the system and reservoir so waiting for a day to either adjust color or drain for clear or Nano Black.

TTL: Yes I will use white lighting for now. Any other color would wash out all the contrast between the components.

Its Alive!

I need to buy the lighting and borrow a better camera than my iPhone to take some decent photos. I am testing and dialing in the overclocks now. The tempered glass window is so reflective I don't know how to get a good shot with the side panel on. Can anyone give me some pointers??

Hi All

Well its been a month of using this system and I am super happy with it. Its quiet and blazing fast. Currently its overclocked to 4.6 Ghz on the CPU and the Twin MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X cards overclock well above the boost clock at max power setting.

The only thing I have not done is install lighting. I was going to try Darkside UV lighting and a UV Red coolant, yet I am unsure. I am thinking I might give Mayhems Pastel Red another try. Then I would go with plain white Darkside LED strips. What do you guys think? I had also thought of Pastel Black coolant. The transparent red I have in there now only looks really red in the Res, and not the tubing.

I really need to invest in or borrow a DSLR camera. I would love to do a nice quality rig gallery post, yet iPhone photos don't cut it

Looking good! I agree with TTL though, definitely needs to be more red. Off try the pastel again.... But i tend to play a little fast and loose.

I am really Leary of Red Pastel. When I used it in my Nova X2M build, after a couple of months it turned a very ugly purplish brown. It does look splendid at first.

Several people I've spoken to have had that experience, and several have not.

Fair enough reasoning though. Have you considered any of the opaque alternatives?
