the high fin per inch count do benefit from high rpm fans. but the trade-off is loudness
and functionality of control. i doubt the fan controller of the new H100i can control
that rpm down low enough to make it bearable to be close to. the idea is to have a
performance cooler, controllable and quiet, while delivering comparable temperatures
to operate with. jacking over-the-top rpm fans kills the whole idea and possibly the
fan controller on-board.
its kinda been tried with the older H100 and temperature drops were not that noticable
at about 2°-3°. the aluminum radiator can only transfer X-amount of heat, blasting
with an over-abundance of air will not improve the transfer so much.
