H100 Fans

I'm looking at getting a h100, and was wondering what peoples experiences have been like with them. I'm mounting it in a HAF X, so the plan is to keep the top 200mm fan as an exhaust, then the rad + 2x120mm fans inside the case.

Are the stock fans ok, or would you recommend something else?

Thanks :)

Edit: Also - does the h100 come with all the bolts I'll need to install it? Or will a trip to the local hardware store be necessary?

You're better off with some better, quieter fans.
Corsair SP 120s are a good shout.

Other than that - any high static pressure fans will do fine.

Yeh. I personally would stick to running 120mm fans on radiators and not get into running the 200m on top.

Maybe go push/pull on the H100 if you really want to - but I don't think a 200mm would give you as good performance as 2 x 120s.

would having the 200mm on top as well as the 2x120 on top impair performance? Or should I just run the 2x120 and remove the stock 200mm fan on top of the case? Decided on two of these as you recommended

It's not going to impair performance - but it'll obviously be louder.

You're better off running the fans on top of the H100 pulling out the top of the case - rather than pushing out the top from the bottom.

Noise mainly...
Fans are better to be pulling through a rad than pushing through it - but having a 200mm fan on the other side in effectively push pull would negate this.

Don't forget the deadspot on a bigger fan !
120mm is what I would use ! EDIT and IS what I use !

Thanks for all the help guys, got it in now and temps at 58 deg after running prime for a quarter of an hour or so :)

If you have the space and dont mind the noise,UltraKaze 38mm 3000RPM fans will out perform any 120/25mm fan by a considerable margin, dial them down to 1000 rpm and they are much quieter and still outperform 25mm fans.
