GTX780ti Coming!

I'm going to sell my HD 7970 that overclocks to 1300hz for a HD 7970 GHZ

Derp

If your 780's core overclocks to 1000mhz, Congratulations you have a GTX 780ti

Wish we could actually get some proper info on this card, Will there be the rumoured 3, 6 and 12Gb version, Will there be a "Black Edition", I find all this cloak and dagger crap very annoying.

i think you haven't really done any research, because the 780ti will be a full GK110 and will most likely outperform the 780 by quite a bit.

Probably not

Extra SMX modules (780ti) = lower overclocking headroom

Fewer SMX modules (780) = higher overclocking headroom

It will be a bit like the GTX 780 and Titan when overclocked, whichever way you go there is not a lot in it.

It's seriously taking all my willpower not to sell my 780 setup for a Ti setup ^_^
But if your right Kaap, Then my willpower is safe :D

I think overclocked the 780ti will be about 4% faster than an overclocked Titan and about 9% or 10% faster than a overclocked GTX 780. Throw in the silicon lottery and it is all going to be pretty close.

I'm quite glad I haven't kicked my ass into gear and got that 7990, I can't wait to see the 780ti review :D.

Just spotted something on those benches, I think they are bogus.

Check out the scores for the GTX 690 @4k, I think they are total rubbish. The GTX 690 only has 2gb of vram per GPU and I would be surprised if it ran at all @4k in some of those tests.

Personally I don't trust any info that comes from videocardz.com until the actual product is out as they said there would be a GTX 685 and a GTX 785 and not so long ago they claimed they had the info for the GTX 790.

Forget about the vram, it's not worth losing sleep over. I've run thousands (literally) of tests, with help from users on this site and others personally. It got to a stage where it just wasn't worth continuing cos the results provided no ~real~ benefit to get uber amounts of vram. vram isn't the be-all-and-end-all. Nice to have it, worth a few fps if you don't. (unless you're dogging an AMD K7 with DDR1) DDR2 rigs... maybe consider worrying, but i5/i7 rigs with too much DDR3 have nothing to worry about.

Forget 4k tests, they're years away in practicality, to which newer cards will be all the rage.

Forget the Titan, it was a freak release, as were previous Matrix etc cards. They're likely to stay at same price and/or disappear. (or turn up with 780ti stickers on them ;) [contraversial] )

.... I'd forget a 780ti myself. Out of the box it'll be better than a 780, but we're not in the business of ootb performance, we'll have oc'd 780 cards anyways :p

Even if it is legit, For someone with a 780 they would see a much bigger increase if they waited for Maxwell which is only in may, 780 to 780 Ti you have got to be a fully qualified idiot.

We should all wait and see what the card brings. Remember how we all felt before the "game changer" that was the 290X and then.... oh
