GTX Titan X Performance?

You referring to the 290x's vs the 980's and Titan X?

No

I am referring to the Titan X vs the 980.

What I am expecting the Titan X to do is perform better @2160p compared to the 980 in the same way as the 290X also performs better @2160p. The 256bit bus on the 980 is a big drawback at the higher resolutions.

This will be interesting to see how it pans out.:)

Anyone who buys one of these for the sole purpose of gaming is a huge epeen moron! Every time NVIDIA mentions a new TITan everyone gets girly and wets their knickers, just nearly called some young douche on bookface a knob, after he posted he'd ordered one and couldn't wait to give Battlefield "the max"...

tbh you can't use them for computing anymore, so thats all you can really do with them.

yea, too bad... now it can only be used for FP32 math, that is if you use it. Dont even see the point in the Titan line anymore, other than as a money grab targeted at Nvidia fan boys.

Thats pretty much everything Nvidia stands for. Ya they have great engineers but its the otherside that makes them look bad. The great engineers are the ones who let them get away with it though.
