GTX 780: Can you change the lights?

Hey guys, I am going to be building a new pc soon, and the theme is a black and red color combo. But since I am going with two 780's and they light up green on the side I was wondering if you can change that in a program, or if you have to mod the cards to change it.

thanks!

you can't change the color, would require modding but that's not gonna be easy with that cooler

no sorry, don't have the waterblocks on my 780s yet so can't really tell how that cooler looks from the inside.

in the block fitting guide for the titan TTL did it looked like it's not easy

You *might* be able to solder in some different LEDs but then you'd still have the green plastic on there so you would have to remove that and find a way to replace it with red acrylic.

it would look better with a clear acryllic, and they will most likely be SM LED's. not fun to solder with.

Probably, but that would look weird if the lights (pc) were turned off. Or even if it's on, if the LEDs are located right behind the acrylic and not to the sides, for example.

you can get wide angle SMLED's but yeah maybe the geforce is like a light bar

I have red and black combo and I will choose this...

But I leave PC dark, only led lights with hardware and sound card shine.
That is enough to see everything inside, model, shape, but not too shine...
