GTX 560Ti SLI Psu?

You need to buy a much better PSU mate. I'm pretty sure the PSU you linked to doesn't have enough amps on the 12v rail to run both cards and you are risking damage to your other components by buying a sh** PSU. Buy a 750W PSU from a reliable company like Seasonic, Corsair, Enermax, BeQuiet, etc.

its 80+ certified...

OCZ are getting out of the PSU game to concentrate on the more lucrative SSD market. You can't go wrong with the Brands mentioned above - Its just not worth compromising too much on a PSU - a poor one can fry your whole rig.

Those Powercooler PSUs ain't bad to be fair, I was using a 480w version of that one posted to run my PC before I got a HX850. The 6+2 pin is ok the extra 2 pins aren't attached to the 6 and come away from it.

I'd still go with a Corsair PSU if you can afford it though.

That's just the efficiency rating. You also need to take into account how good the 12V rail is and find out if it will be capable of supporting two GPU's.

It looks like the above PSU will be good enough for 2 560 Ti's, but I've heard bad things about OCZ PSU's. I have zero experience with OCZ PSU's, so I can only speak from what I've heard/read. Do a quick google search on some reviews before you purchase though.

For example - A conclusion from TechPowerUp

The Good

- Although its continuous output is rated only up to 40°C the PSU handled full power at 47.1 ambient. However we would like it to have 50°C rating.

- Good ripple suppression on the minor rails (5V & 3.3V).

- Voltage regulation at +12V and 5V is within 3% range.

- Good efficiency levels (for a Bronze unit) with 80W and 100W loads.

-Japanese capacitors are solely used, something that means prolonged lifespan and increased reliability

The Bad

- At this price it faces really strong competition from units that utilize modern designs/components (e.g. DC-DC converters).

- Mediocre ripple suppression at +12V and 5VSB.

- +12V registered a very high voltage drop in the third part of Turn on Transient Tests (PSU off to full +12V).

- Main ATX cable is a little short and may cause compatibility problems in large cases.

- Distance among the peripheral and SATA connectors is too short (85 mm).

- Wires among the peripheral and SATA connectors are not sleeved.

This. There are other factors to consider besides the 80+ cert when getting a PSU. Safest, easiest, and most reliable thing to do is get a PSU from reliable companies as previously mentioned.

I googled it and dint come up withy enough info to say yeah or nay but the little I did see made me have to say nope dont do it. says dual rail at 16amps each no where near enough power

The OCZ one the OP linked to looks to be O.K, but I've heard bad things about their PSU's. What do you think about the OCZ one he mentioned? It has 56 A on the 12v rail, which should be enough, but considering the slack OCZ get, would it be a good choice?

they make decent psu's no doubt but as there moving away from making them I wouldnt by one.

Update, Im going with the Corsair TX850 and XFX HD6950 2GB Crossfire cards.

good choice followed by bad choice

Good decision by going with the Corsair PSU.

agreed now to get it back to Nvidia

HD 6950 2GB beats the GTX 560ti especially in Crossfire vs Sli...
