Well guys,

As you know this has been the month of BF3, we played the beta, enjoyed it especially Caspian border and now on 25th the full game is going to be released in less than a week.

My 5870 coped with the beta nicely but i have a feeling its not going to do the same on the 25th.

So i was looking at the GTX 560's as those are all i can afford right now, would love a 570 but i cannot stretch that far.

My question is which 560 or 560ti do you recommend?

Im going to LITS so i hope i can pick up a bargain there

Let me know what you guys think

msi 560ti TFII OC

I would think if anything it should perform better on a less buggy, more optimised retail release

560TI looks like a nice card.

Loooking at the benchmarks AMDFTW posted, there doesn't seem to be that much difference between them (looking at the bfbc2 bench's).

There's also all the rumours of BF3 being AMD/ATI optimised

560ti all the way. Really great performance and the card in my girlfriend's rig (Asus direct CU) is eerily quiet under full load. Not quite as quiet as the NH-D14 but still quieter than the air penetrator on the case.

i wouldnt change a 5870 for a gtx 560ti, its almost the salme performance, except in dx11, if im gonna change a 5870 would be for at least a gtx 570

The 5870 is borrowed and he doesn't have enough to spring for a 570.

I checked my account and my JSA has just come in, i may have enough for a gtx 570 but it all depends on how much they cost at LITS, Scan are going to be there so hopefully i can get a deal off them

Yeh, they might have some good deals for people attending. I think the KFA II version of the 570 Tom reviewed quite recently is the cheapest one you can get. How much are you looking to spend (max) on a card?
