Hehe I have it the opposite way - I see them as "fuel lines":D. Cables are a part of any case^_^

Hehe isn't that like not wanting to see the engine in a car ?:rolleyes: or just one want one big plastic cover to cover it all up (just like in most modern cars nowadays).

Oh well I'm not that much into the looks but more to the grunt. Also this case dates back to 2007 in design before advanced cable management and cable cut outs, but I still love it since it keeps everything cool inside. Albeit it will probably be the last build I'll have inside this case as for my "main rig".
 
I hate cable mess inside a computer case but i like the sound of fans, so i don't mind deltas :D
 
its a nice case, not a fan of side case fans, but i do like how you've gone all green and even painted the corsair fan coverings.

The cables if you see them like fuel lines thats fine but in my car id like to have neat fuel lines and cables. which would also give better air flow :D nothing wrong with a plastic cover if it improves performance and causes less drag.
 
mid atx cases really arent nice for cable management..
my old case was HORRIBLE!
this haf 922 is a mid case too but atleast it has some cable management options.
Wish i could have bought the 932 or 900d though. they were just WAY out of budget. even had to get the 922 second hand lol.

so i cant really fault the wire management.
its just not easy to tidy up so many wires in a small space. and its even harder when you cant hide them behind the mother board.

any way to OP. thnx for the pics but you have now made me think that because i have Green led's in my system people may think im running an nvidia card. and i haven't used one of those since the 8800 days because they removed over-scan from the options, maybe its back now. i dunno don't need it any more any way. but at the time they really annoyed me because I NEEDED that option lol.
maybe i wil put in some blue led's or something but they are usually too bright.

no where to hide the cables and have all my stuff too lol.
the 922 isnt so bad because i can hide them behind mother board. but my trend sonic wizzard was horrible.
was no where to hide cables at all. if i tried they ended up in a fan or poking out some where. just wasnt nice.

personally i think the wire management in the op's case aint bad at all.

Maybe because its an older case? never had an issue with mid towers. Excluding OEM cases with no cutouts.
 
It is what it is - you have 3 GPU's in there its gonna need a lot more cables.... I personally would try and shove any excess cables into the bottom of the hard drive cage - if possible.

I tried that when I had my 3x white and 3x green sleeved pci-e extension cables on (which I bought along with a 24pin atx white sleeved extension), but it just looked horrible when cramped into the HDD cage.
So after 3hours of trying to "tidy" things I gave up and took off the sleeved extension cables and only used the one for the 24pin atx. The 24pin atx ran in the middle of the case so I couldn't get the PCI-e cables in behind, so that was why they for so long laid at the front. However I used the white 24pin extension cable and got the atx power cord out of the way and put flush with the case frame at the HDD bays. I then tried the re-route the pcie cable from the front to the back at get zip tied firmly to the rear of the cases HDD tray, since now the atx cable didn't take up that space.
The back of the case is not cable management friendly and it's mostly ruined to that long vertical bar you can see which is kind of "folded". It extens out so whenever you try to run thick cables like the PCIe cables over it, it will make all the cables bugle out and then you can attached the side panel. The only "cut out" as such at the bottom is blocked by the length of the PSU.
The only real way is to try to make all cables go behind the HDD bays and keep them there. It's really a waste of space behind the ATX tray... but that vertical folded metal bar really screws it up.
Well well... that is what's to be expected from a case ann0 2007 where cable management was rather a "gimmick" than something to be implemented.

I appreciate how difficult it is especially given the amount of kit you've got in there - when I used the case I made the hole by the PSU bigger - but again my power supply was smaller than yours...

Isn't it about time to upgrade to a gigabyte x79 up4 mobo so you can run 4 of those cards and not just a measly 3?!

Yea indeed it is quite a challenge to get all that stuff in there and make it look good and not just working :)
I have many times considered modding the case and get rid of that vertical metal bar.. but all the time effort and tools and to get everything in and out just seems overwhelming to me. So I have never got that done. Instead I have been waiting for the next right case for me (I have been extremely picky about cases), and the next one will be Phanteks Enthoo Pro which I hope to be able to afford around christmas time :)

Hehe no... next motherboard will be X99 and some Maxwell GPU's.
