graphics card help!!!!

hey right iv had enough of playing simple games.. iv recently got a job and want to take my computer gaming to the next level i was recomended to get the ATI Radeon X1900XT ( http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/118218/rb/22700844788 )

thats all very well but i dont no if the card will fit into the slot provided

now im not to smart so try to put ur help as simple as possible please

if any one knows any sites at all where i would be able to find out what graphics card slot i have it would be much appreciated

as it also depends on what cpu you have to suggest a card that will perform well

i would go for a dx 9 7900 gto or a dx 10 8800 gts

yes it would but you could properly get better value for money as the radion is only dx 9 were as the 8800 series are dx 10 dx 10 cards will be future proof for quite a bit
