Hello all, i'm looking to get a new graphics card for upcoming games like BF3 and just a upgrade in general as my 5770 is falling behind slightly. I am only running one 19 inch monitor and i currently have 1 5770 this seems to run all my games a just about maxed setting, but i want to upgrade to something that will last me awhile. So i was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for an upgrade. I was thinking something along the lines of a GTX570 or 6950 Unlocked to 6970? any suggestions? and im pretty sure a 580 would be overkill ^^

Other specs of your computer please and the budget will help us, help you!

Okey, My specs were on my profile but ill but them here anyways!

i5 2500k@4Ghz

4Gb Hyper-x Blu DDR3 1600MHZ

Sapphire 5770 Vapor-x

OCZ StealthXstream 2 600w

and budget wise well, for a 19 inch monitor i don't think i'm gonna be looking at any of the crazy 580/590s and in a few months prices may go down so i will probably be able to get a decent card for -300£ i wouldn't like to spend much more than £220-£240

also i forgot to mention that i will be going to america in August and i know that i can get stuff slightly cheaper over there and i will probably wait until then to buy anyway.

GTX 560 or GTX 560 Ti - He is only playing on a tiny little monitor.

no experience with the 560 but the Ti had one loved it as I do my 570HD only reason I said 570 was incase the monitor got upgraded they'd be set already

If its 1280x1024 a 560Ti is about as much as you need to spend. The 570 is good if you plan to get a HD monitor.

hmmmm, well i have a while to decide yet and your right its probably best i get a 570 so that can still play at high setting later on when i decide to get a new monitor!

The 560 Ti should be enough to play most current games at 1080p (other settings not on max) Then save some $$$ and grab a cheap 22" to 24" monitor for cheap. Even the Acer monitors are pretty good these days.

Get a 560Ti and save for a better monitor mate, have a look around sites like Scan or even ebay 23" monitors are dirt cheap £150 - £200 for a good one. From my experience it's hard to go wrong with a Samsung or LG monitor, never had any problems with any of mine over the years.

they've been around awhile now and they seem to be like most of the others good in some areas bad in others but overall decent for the $$ spent
