Built it for a friend just over a year ago.

They want to sell and its better than my current rig. How much is a realistic offer in your eyes?

590 tops...
generally, ill take today's prices and deduct 30% (times .7) for used equipment.
depending on maintence and how clean the price can go lower.

I'd say £590 is very generous to the seller...

Considering it includes quite a bad SSD, monitor - and copy of windows that you most likely wouldn't need...

Maybe 500? I wouldn't even be wanting the screen tbh, so I'd go as low as saying 440ish without the screen...

Overclocking the CPU clearly kills the chip - deduct monies for that too!

A very good purchase if you could get it cheap. Would actually be pretty damn good as a folding rig, for that money.

i dont deduct for overclocking...
for a buying perspective, maybe.. but peeps are buying binned CPUs for the
hot clock chips. and they are paying more than a run-of-the mill CPU...

Around the £500 mark sounds good to me. Possibly offer a bit more to be nice :P

I built it a year ago and it ran really nice. I'm still on a Q6600 and 4gb of ram so this would be quite a decent upgrade for me.
