I haven't seen such cripplingly ridiculous overpricing since I last looking at the Beast Computers website.
 
Maybe its to pay all the staff they need to hire. :P Why on earth would BFG create a PC which costs so much, and in the current economic downturn?

LOL, I managed to max out the price to nearly $17,000 by choosing the highest options.

Who's gonna spend that on a single PC system? Jim...;)

Ok, it would be silly to select Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Elements and ALSO the Combo package :)

All in all, it looks really polished, and with that touch screen up front, which you can just press to shutdown/restart/sleep your computer is a very attractive addition. The iPOD dock, whilst useless to me, is sure to turn a couple of heads ;)

As for their timing, honestly, it doesn't matter when they release it, potential buyers aren't likely going to let the silly economy affect their purchases:>
 
i think with 8k, i could make an double loop WC build with a great customized case and good hardware inside it, and remember in brazil every piece of hardware costs the double of its price in USA :rolleyes:
 
Nah you'd just have everything packaged in the US or UK and have it shipped all at once :P

More seriously, I think this is just WAY overpriced. The case is of course worth a lot because of its sleekness, but everything else is overpriced.

$8000 would make a nice gaming rig and a 6-8rig folding farm :D

- hmm this is just off topic but i would like to know more about folding maybe a guide for dumb users who never heard of it :rolleyes:, since i didnt get it right in the current guides...
 
Tbh it is rather beautiful lol.

I expect quite a few will be sold tbh the maount of people that make pots of money these days..

Hundreds of people bought a blackbird002 just for the ****ing case.
