I gave it a shot - although 100 word limit was definately restricting my creative juices! I think by editing it down I just come across as offensive lol.

How does Phlean have 3 kids, working on his degree, doing 3 jobs, and somehow have an 8800GTS with a 7900 GTX as a backup? Guys, it's just acompetition chances are you won't win. Please don't say your wives have leukemia with only 3 years to live, that's really sad. What if it actually comes true one day, how'd that make you feel?

Well it is true, do you have any idea what its like to see someone that means so much to your own child that will be gone sometime soon? If you don't then I can not and will not try to make you understand, other then it is extremely frustrating and hard on a person. If you can't believe me then that is on you. I have a GTS but I am also selling it as it does me no good because I am bottlenecked by my CPU, however with a 7950 that would not be the case and I also stated I am selling my 7900GTX. I work two jobs, a 3rd every other friday and take a class at night and one online. Care to question me more?

PS> I work my ass off so I can afford what I have, that may be a foreign concept to you, if it is try it sometime you would be surprised at what the human body is capable of it pushed not to mention at the center of my life what is important is making sure my kids are taken care of, if however I manage to acquire a 8800GTS for example doesn't mean I am lying. Are you jealous because you don't have one? If you want to attack someone maybe you should do your home work before making accusations or questioning someones character.

And BTW it has taken me over a year to acquire my current rig, I didn't just go out and buy it at one shot, so is there anyone else that wants to question me?

I understand this is a internet forum where somene can be anyone and say anything. The object of the contest is to tell a story that of which I did, you can cry to the mods but unless there is a rule I broke that I am unaware of then I am not "cheating" for telling the truth.

It doesn't matter, you have a GTS! you can purchase a 7950GX2!

You don't need to "win" one.

Okay it seems that people are not getting the picture, I don't have the money to buy a 7950.

AND for the record I didn't buy the GTS, it is being sent to me, and yes I said SENT! because I don't have it just yet, should be here mid of next week. I had to work for the damn thing, AND stop worshipping the card. For the most part, unless you are running @ 4ghz or higher your not going to see the performance that the 8800 is capable of so don't sit there and say "OMG HE HAS A GTS!" because I won't be using the damn card.

And besides if I had the card in my posession I would have taken pics by now.

Just FYI, a 7950GX2 at the moment is better than an 8800GTS in almost every current game, GTS will win eventually for DX10 supports and more advanced shadow features and such.

I think you will be able to find someone to trade with you GTS for a X1950XTX/7950GX2.
 
Alright guys, I asked a simple question he answered it. Even though I may think he is still lying, he answered. This is the internet, what he says is truth, until proven otherwise. I didn't mean to attack you in particular phelan, I was simply saying that it's not good to lie, especially when saying bad things about people who are close to you. That's all. GOod luck to everyone in the contest!
