Goodbye to G70

what a card to end nVidia's G70 DirectX 9 product line on and now begin with the nVidia's G80 DirectX 10 products.

I have a good pc at the moment but would love to win the sexy 7950GX2 card not only to look at but to be able to turn up the resolution to 1920x1200 and then be able to buy the 24” widescreen Benq FP241W to go with it.

Well, what could I say to convince you?

"I want this card as badly as the others, because I'm still waiting to finish building me computer. Ordered an E6600 in July, gotten the news a few weeks ago that the shop has been closed down, making me lose 300+ € . Next, my G.skill ZX memory seems to be THE one which has almost always trouble to boot the first time on a 965 mobo. Finally, I'm a geek, I only live for computers (and maybe a gf when I catch one), so I beg you to give that beauty THE shelter it needs: my computer case."

Video card/mobo fried!

A sad story from a gaming/hardware geek.

About 2 weeks ago during a storm I heard a LOUD crack and PC shuts off while playing HL2! The power comes back on but the monitor gets no signal! I re-connect all connections just to make sure but no luck! The next day I go to a friends to troubleshoot. It turns out my mobo and 7600GT are FRIED! Now I have no PC and i'm going through gaming/OC3d withdrawal!

Now i'm stuck going to the library just to get my OC3d/hardware fix! I have no idea when Im gonna be able to afford a video card! I had an old mobo so I just need a videocard now. Moneys been tight lately and with my 3month old son and Christmas coming up it looks even worse! Its just MY luck that something like this would happen. If I win the video card I can have my PC back up and running so help a brother out! Please please please PLEASE give me an early X-mas present! I :worship: you!

I would love to win this card just because of the wonderful things it can do.

I started out in 1999 with a 3DFX Vodoo 3000 PCI and have been totally blown away with my current e-geforce 7800GT. I would of loved to buy one of the great ones but had to settle for an Ebay used one that was a year old.

I have too many Grand children that have more needs than a new videocard.

I love to escape with my eldest grandchild and play games while he watches and learns. I would love to play the games usings a card that would actually play at 1600X1200. This card would be the icing on the cake for my system.

I would use it when I finally build that rig I've been planning on. You know, the upgrade from SOCKET A! lol. (I should also get it because I cry myself to sleep at nigh... oh wait this isn't the why to win a panic at the disco ticket contest.) I don't need it as bad as some people, but I could definately put it to good use.

I have just built a revolutionary new computer. It was designed around a pair of THESE cards. Since I am no longer able to work all I could afford was a pair of 7600s (Open Box).

My CrossFlow comp would really be what it was designed to be with this card.

So basically I dont ask for me but for my poor CrossFlow , a spectacular comp that has been suffering because of my shortcomings.

first off can i just say i have more posts than this, but err my dog ate them on the way here.

K, i'd like/want/need this card so for once I can have better fps than my clanmates for the first time EVER. I’ve been online gaming for about 4 years in RTCW and ET and we’re quite a close knit bunch who have stuck together for this long, it’s always been a big joke how I take the longest to load the map with my 2500+ and how im always getting 50 fps with my 9800 pro. I recently started saving for a new rig, I was pricing up my components in such glee knowing that “one day, it will be mine” only to get sacked from my job for being late, AGAIN (late night gaming session) and funnily enough hit with a tax bill 2 days after my job ended mounting to £20 under what I had already managed to save.

It might not be used straight away as my system is socket A, but it will sure look good on my desk in the meantime

Please come to live inside my computer, i will supply you with enough power.

The CPU is warm and the Hard Drives are very quiet , you will display movies and interesting games.

No voltmod will be done to you every week or so you will be dusted and clean.

The memory is there just to help (i know you wont need it...).
