[Lots more pics of the system on the following pages]

I'm building a computer for my buddy, he wanted a cool system and asked me to build it for him. He had so many questions about what, where, how, and in the end we built a super nice system. We're still waiting for his GPU and white leds to arrive, so we can finish this beastie! The current GPU inside it is just for testing. Warning, picture heavy! Haha!

When he came with the stuff, it looked like this!

I love the scheme! It's not like most of the other rigs that are either blue/black, red/black, or white/blue...
This is the sexiest thing I've seen, and I've seen lots of cool rigs!

Specs are:

i5 3570k (it does 4.5GHz @ 1.24v)
ASUS Sabertooth Z77
G.Skill Sniper 8GB 2x4GB 2133MHz 9-11-10-28
OCZ Vector
Corsair AX750 (overkill, but he's going SLI in the future. Maybe =] )
Noctua NH-D14 (keeps the core at ~70°C with Prime95)
Noctua NF-A14 FLX fans (amazing fans!!!)
All in the beautiful R4 windowed case!

One thing you might have noticed, you can't see an annoying green light on the bottom of the motherboard. It was ruining the look of the rig, so I grabbed a piece of wood, cut it to size and screwed a 6mm hole in it, put it over the light and presto!

It blends in so nice with the internal USB ports!
Haha! Now, to wait for that GPU and leds to make this rig really shine!

Oh yeah, I also have a video of this system:

U should have used that new lamp of yours to lighten up the R4 when doing the video. Anyways - use it for upcoming vids maybe?
Nice build tho. Your friend should be pleased with the the work u have put into it and the performance of this little cutie :handshake:

Haha, I did use it, but if I aim it into the rig you wouldn't be able to see a thing, the reflection was too bright! I'll figure something out...
We're going to braid the cables in the near future, so, more work, but totally worth the effort! Gonna be a sick system!
He's already planning to water cool it too. So, haha, mad!

I wouldn't even watercool it man :D it's very rare you get a very decent air cooled system on here - and I just found another :D Super tidy.

I do, what the ''boss'' tells me to do =) HAHA!
I agree on that. This setup is superb, but if he wants water, he'll get water.
But he's watercooling it in the future, I think he's just going wild, because it's his first new system and he wants it to be like everyone else's. He saw my setup and his eyes started sparkling.
But for now, it's staying like this. =]
I'm still looking at it like I did the first time I built it xD It's awesome in person!

very clean. love noctua stuff. i was deciding between the mpower and the sabertooth for my build, but i ended up picking the mpower. this build is very very nice indeed.

Very nice - dont ever apologize for posting pics. You know the old saying "A picture tells more than a thousand words" - Well, that still holds good :)
For me as well the lights worked better on top. Does the chassis bleed any light? Would have liked to see a full tour around the rig in a dark room.
Maybe ill get the same for my rig. Part number?
Where are u getting sleeves from?

Bleed light? What does it mean? =]
I'll make another video at night with no lights around.
It's the NZXT Sleeved Led Kit, 1m White.
I'm getting sleeves from MDPC-X =] I think they make awesome sleeves! We shall see!
