Gigabyte P35 DS4 problem....why does my power button light stay on when pc is off?

I installed a Gigabyte P35 DS4 into my system today. Install went ok but I do have one strange problem, why I power down the pc my case power button light stays on.

Why is this happening?

Is there a way to stop it?

I know some leds used for the harddrive front panel will be always on if they`re plugged in backwards at the header.

Maybe your pc is sleeping instead of shutting down.

Both harddrives are sata so the leads only go in one way. Power LED headers are on the correct way, I did try switching them around but that resulted in no power led.

if you turn the switch on your psu off, it will disable this, if that is what you want to achieve?

i have the same board.. but no such problems.. try reseating all the jumpers
