OK so I don't know about you but I'm getting fed up of hearing about companies with great "new" cards with 1million GPU's on one card.
Well Gigabyte seem to have gone and done one of their own.
The thing is: this one actually look pretty good
The card is a single-slot solution which only requires one power dongle. Wow....much better than the Asus solution.
It is also the same height as a normal GT and nowhere near as long as the Asus version.
The card has a 256mb frame buffer for each GPU core, so should perform similar to SLi's GT's.
It is also not SLi compatible (no place to put the SLi dongle).....sooooo good for those who have only one PCI-E slot!!
The cooling solution is very innovative and (according to Bit-Tech) very quiet. It has a cooler on both sides of the card, which makes a lot of sense to me (2 x 6800GT=HOT).
