Getting the most out of Phenom II

Right peeps, I want to be spending a bit of money on phenom, athlon and sempron cpu's as I'm getting a crosshair v board soon (fingers crossed) before I start benching with them, I want to know, how exactly do I get the best from them, I.E. what will give me the best scores in the 2D benchmarks. I'm wandering about things like ram speed/latency Hyper transport speeds and North bridge speeds. The reason for using AMD cpu's is that I have used them since the days of the socket 939 and the DFI lanparty NF4 boards, so I'm not jumping into the unknown yet, I want a familiar architecture since I hope to be jumping into sub zero cooling soon and I want as smooth a transition from standard air/water cooling as possible. Will hopefully be getting a pot from rasmus as soon as I get my money in, then I will be benching with DICE first on a weekly bases (fingers crossed again

) before moving on to LN2 when I feel comfortable with sub zero cooling.

Thanks for all your time people, and sorry if the spelling is awful, I'm on my phone atm and it has autocorrect and I don't really have the time to look over it all again

go to HWbot.org

search for other's scores with the same processor that you have.

note their set-up (similar to yours)

beat there score(s)

keep it cold mate, amd almost scale better with temps than they do with volts.

sweet spot with the denab i have is 2.7ghz ht/nb and the cpu/ram as fast as they would stay stable but as with all things more is better
