Getting a PS3 Easter week =]

From woolworths - pretty big discount.

I got two choices...

40gb with burnout paradise (my choice) or fifa street 3 ---- £320 (plus discount)

40gb with choice of 3 games out of 8 (or something) ---- £340 (plus discount)

Also would it be worth hooking it up to my 2007wfp in my room?

Or have it downstairs on a non widescreen sony thingy (non HD)

Im asking this as im not sure 2007wfp is HD (nvidia control panel isnt sure either)

Fifa pro Street has a great demo so may be worth getting and a couple of my mates love Burnout Paradise

Ok so anyone care to point me to something which will allow me to hook both pc and ps3into a switcher or something, allowing me to flick between pc/ps3 seemlessly (i take it DVI > S-video)

Also how am i going to hook up my 5.1 system? The digital decoder has optical, coaxial and line in (preferably first 2 )

Now i need to be looking for a HDMI > DVI/DVI (plug two in) > DVI (monitor)

Optical out is of course High Def Dolby Digital Surround or DTS

You need a switch box mate, but it would have to be a DVI one

I have both, and both are good, although the PS3 has a much more quality feel to it and Blu Ray is fantastic

Hows gaming online via wireless? Might need to hook it up through my dual ethernet (pc)

Gaming online with wireless is pretty good and the PS3 connection feels very stable
