Geforce GTX Titan Z, a dual Titan Black Monster

Wow, 2x8 pins is pretty low for two GK110 chips. 2x8 pins and 1x6 pin minimum is what I would have expected.

Definitely underclocked with not much OC headroom.

If you look at the power connectors, it only has 2 x 8 pins which is no where near enough for two full fat GK110 chips, meaning this card is crippled from the start.
ooh.
So, for the price of 3 780tis you get two underclocked Titan Blacks? Yeah this should just be a compute card (something below the Tesla?), not a gaming card.

Just 2x8 pin? I expected it to get at least 3x8pin.

I do wonder how quiet and cool this card will run. They claim it to be very cool and quiet, but for $3000,- I expect it to be whisper quiet.

Looking at the pictures it seems that there still is room for a thicker heatsink without going beyond the three slots. Why wouldn't they use the extra space they have left? Costs reducing won't be a factor I guess.

Thats a great point. This card doesn't really have a practical use, unless you want to build a really small PC (ITX, mATX).

I understand a single card with 2 GPUs being slightly more than 2 separate for convenience reasons but you can get a Titan Black for about $1100 and even if you didn't water cool you could get both for $2200. The Titan Z is $800 more still! What is the other $800 going too!?

Yep, the only benefit, is that single PCB. It's pretty cool, but who would buy it here?

Not interested in this card.. as said before more interested in the AMDs rumored 295x just to see if they can actually pull it off with two full on Hawaii cores.

Judging by the horrid cooler on the 290s... Thats not gonna go well. I guess we should expect a new cooler!
