Gearbox demands major changes from G2A

We all know this will never happen. G2A main source of income is this so called "fraud protection" payment. But as strategy move to showcase them as fraudulent grey zone company id say sneaky move rabbit :P

Gearbox has now begun their extraction process after issuing the following statement:
As there has been no public movement from G2A by the time Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition launched now on PC, Gearbox Publishing will be doing their part to not directly support a marketplace that did not make the new public commitment to protecting customers and developers requested by Gearbox Publishing," Gearbox Publishing chief Steve Gibson said. "We do not control G2A’s marketplace or where they may obtain keys from parties outside of Gearbox Publishing, but we can confirm that today we have begun executing on our extraction process.

"After finding out about these controversies" lmao, yea that must have surprised them, who does research on business partners anyways.

Well you'd be a bit stupid to pay for G2A shield unless you have given them your CC details, which again would be pretty stupid. Paypal have refunded me twice when I got bum codes. No need to pay for any shield nonsense.

Mind you they charge a fee for Paypal too, but at least that one is worth it. I find myself using it less and less these days any way (G2A) as I have been using cdkeys and their customer service is fantastic.

Cdkeys is awesome. I haven't payed full price for a game since I discovered them.

Yup mainly use them exclusively now after G2A banned my mate in the USA. Keys are cheaper in the UK on cdkeys even though they're in £ so we usually buy games together.

Recently Dead Rising 4 was on for £25, or $35 for him. Turns out £25 was $29 so I bought both keys and then he paypalled me the cash.

Works in reverse on Steam sales. Due to the games usually being the same price in $ in the sale I usually paypal him the cash over :D

But yeah been doing stuff like that for years lol.
