Not really. Unless it gets really got where he lives or just for looks. He can always try undervolting the chip, but I've ran a 3570k on stock (volts and clocks) with a Hyper 212 Evo for a while and never got over 65 C on a hot summer day.

My attitude towards it is that if it ships with a stock cooler, which apparently works, then a Hyper 212 Evo, shouldnt have any trouble

Keep in mind though that the stock cooler is the absolute minimum. It will run both hot and loud, too hot and too loud for most people, but if you look at it objectively then yes, it can cool the CPU.

Talk about shipping though, don't want to ship an entire system with a bulky CPU cooler hanging off the motherboard. The Hyper 212 probably won't be too bad but he could easily pick up one of the cheaper Corsair ones like the H50/550/60 just to be sure. Cooling wise this isn't necessary though.

Well he is living in the Czech Republic and the company that builds the PC is Czeck, so I dont think shipping will a problem. If there are any problems, sending it back will be easy. Also I dont think he is ready for watercooling even if it is an AIO. I really want to keep this simple
