Gaming PC under 300$

...
@op you could try and get some second hand items even then $300 is a low budget.
Yes at that price cieling, I'd say you're looking for a second hand machine including a copy of windows.

Perhaps scour eBay for some possibilities and ask the people here for their opinion on what you find.

I just found a video with a $400 gaming system that mins 30FPS on Crysis 3 on medium, which is pretty good.

Check it out:

Ebay.

Got my second hand phenom x4 940 and crosshair II for £100 there 2 years ago then paired it my with my 4850. Play dayZ on it haha :D 1400x900 resolution is my monitors max res though so not that demanding.

You can pick up the first gen of i7's for only 35-£40 on ebay now... problem is getting a cheap motherboard for it.. not possible.

A $300 dollar gameing machine is called a xbox.....
You are realy just wasteing money at that price point save up a little or have a look for a secondhand system.

I would save up to at least be able to afford a 550 to 600 pound system. The extra money may seem like a lot but in the low to mid low hardware the jump in performance can be quiet big and well worth the extra money.

My budget system cost about £600 ($979.44) in total I doubt very much you'll get much for $300 (£183.76), probably better off looking at a console or save a while longer and check the sales.

Yeah $300 isnt really enough, even with used parts you are going to struggle dude.

If you bought new youd end up with some shocking low spec parts and it just wouldnt be worth the money. The fact you say gaming too you could easily spend 2/3rds of your budget on a LOW end graphics card alone.

To sum up: you could put together a low end PC that would be useless for gaming, or buy a console for the same money that is brilliant for gaming.

To get games to run at any worthwhile frame rate on a $300 PC you'd have to turn the graphics quality so far down that it would look even worse than the console version.
