G500s or G600 MMO mouse?

Honestly didn't know which section this would go under, this seemed most suitable.

I have a G9x and it's now broken so I contacted logitech and they have no more in stock so they can send me a G600 MMO or a G500s instead.

They originally offered the G600 MMO and I requested the G500s as it's more alike the G9x. So which mouse is better in general?

The G500 is a lot bigger than the G9. I had one and didn't like it much but love my G9. The G600 is a little bigger than the G500 amd it's made for MMO's and had a ton of thumb buttons. I guess if you're a heavy WOW player, it could come in handy but it's not for me. Of the 2,id suggest the G500. It's a good shape but was just a little too tall for me. It's still an excellent mouse though.

Yeah that was my preference and that's why I requested it but I've heard a lot of negative reviews everywhere on the logitech forums and elsewhere about it having terrible input lag which is making me wary about confirming the order and being stuck with it.

Know anything more about this input lag issue?

Not heard too much. But then people usually only go to the Logitech forum to bitch about problems. I own a G9, G400, G700 and G500 and never noticed any lag from any of them.

That's good to know, although it was the G500s that was known to have the noise and lag problems instead of the G500. I like the G600 MMO, it's a good mouse but I don't quite fancy the 12 buttons on the side.
