Hi guys
Just installed watercooling in my pc and when I turned pc on I got bios error 55 which is memory not installed when both 2 x 4gb are installed. They are working separately but not together. All dims are working. I have tried reset bios, reset rtc, nothing is working. On the end I updated bios to the newest version and pc wont boot with 2 sticks of ram. Before I put wc everything was working fine. No errors at all. My cpu wasnt oc and my ram was set up on auto.
My motherboard is asus z87 pro
my ram is g.skill ripjaws x f3-17000cl11d-8gbxl ddr3 2133mhz 4gbx2 xmo ready 1.5v-1.6v
what I can do to fix this or buy new ram?
UPDATE: both sticks of ram working only in dimm a1 and dimm a2. If insert in dimm b1 or b2 gives me error 55 no memory installed. Before watercooling I had my ram in a1 and b1 how it should be but now if I try this I have error 55 or pc will starts and shut down in loop. I have tried a2 and b2 and same error.
What is causing this error/problem?
Should I rma my motherboard? Or buy new ram?
