Frustrated

I had to deal with a dell motherboard that couldn't be mounted properly in my case because it wasn't a proper form factor in my previous machine. I also had a variety of issues with the GTS 450 I bought for it so it was basically running on intergrated half the time. It motivated me to get a dead end job at a furniture store so I saved up and shopped around to build the rig I use today. The motherboard was B grade stock and I rather stupidly bought an enermax case. I've been lucky because I got a proper full time job and as such I can upgrade my rig to how I want it to be. It just takes alot of time to get a rig you're satisfied with, heck I'm not satisfied with my current one. For some people, posting it online is a way of convincing themselves they've finally got what they wanted.

Whether they show them off or not, someone will always have better than you no matter who they are. Don't let it get to you is all you can do.

Thank you all for the kind motivating words. Really make me feel at home with my office pc. Will try a cable management mod in the holidays if there is time because i'm currently grade 12 and cant wait to start my IT course. Being frustrated doesn't mean i'm not proud of my baby.

Does it perform well? because im looking for a gpu upgrade?

it performs well at times with games, but my CPU bottlenecks it which is a shame really and i can't upgrade cause no money haha.

but if you're looking to upgrade your CPU or GPU soon, then get one of the most recent graphics cards on the market and pair it up with a decent processor.

This is why I don't want to buy a gpu then I upgrade to "i" edition boards and cpu and have to start all over. and rumors say that we will have ddr4 by the end year meaning-different board and what's stopping them to pair it with new socket cpus?

With that around the corner it will drive down the price of DDR3 and also have a knock on effect with motherboards & CPU prices, so start saving now and you'll be pleasantly surprised at what your money will get you when time comes to finally take the plunge.

this here ^^^^^^

Almost everyone here has a better pc than me. Granted if i under-clocked my shitty amd cpu with 1 module  to your Pentium speeds, your Pentium would win in benchmarks. i don't even have l3 cache lol and close to none of l2 cache. new amd architecture sucks especialy with cpus that have "2 cores" it bottlenecks sooo badly. and btw, right now i have to live with 160gb hdd
