That is Frank's signature trademark - sewn cables. I actually sewed them flat like that, the black you see going across the cables keeping them that way is nylon thread that I used. I did a series of tutorial videos on YouTube on how to sew cables walking you through the steps and the points you need to keep in mind as you sew the cables. Its a 4 video series about 2-3 minutes per video.
