FragTek is comin' to England baby! w00t w00t!

Arg- I'm in London 2 weeks before then for a 3 day trip- I'm gonna miss you :(

I would have offered you my sofa to sleep on (we're used to strange foreigners sleeping on it!) but being in the North East it would involve another journey up here.

I can't change my dates either- I'm going with the college. Not that I can complain- it's only costing me £30 + meals for the 3 days, and that includes trips to the museums, the eye and Thorpe park on the way back. We're staying in a hotel with Wifi too... :p
 
Kemp you forgot to mention the london eye - tussauds is ok but not cheap- recommend the kings raod for a few drinks prior to going to leicester square, but htere are plenty of places to drink. Definately take in a show as alot of american actors come here just for them. try out the comedy store too.

Only drama is $100 or about £50 is not enough at all. Unless you buy a few cans from the shop first - average cost of beer in london is $5, however the advantage is it is slightly stronger than pale ale. Keep off wife beater unless you are a hardened drinker.:yumyum:
 
Hardened I am... Finish off a 30 or 24 pack every day/night :p hehe

I'll see how far $100 a day will get me, I'm not locked in to that though. I don't plan on spending a lot of money "doing" things. I like to walk around and take pictures, etc. 3 meals a day and possibly a few beers at night :)
 
frag our beer has flavour mind...it isnt just cold watered down crap (bud) :)

out of interest how long have u been drinking? cos the age limit is 21 is it not?

The LEGAL age to drink in the US is 21. But we start drinking at about 15 in reality :)

And Budweiser is ****. I only drink Newcastle and cheap high gravity malts :)
 
You should come up to Newcastle if you like the Ale- it's about time I did the touristy thing :p

I've been drinking since the legal age- 5 :p

grolsch is FTW, but dont get me started :)

i also feel i have to stick with more english beers sometimes, and so carling and carlsberg are also nice :)
 
Looks like i'm a minority...i LOVE Bud....that and Stella :D

But then i havn't had a drink since.......i fell out of a taxi on my 18th.
 
Tiger, SanMiguel, Cerveza, coronas are my favourites, but i tend to just settle on whatever is on offer lol, so stella and foster's usually
 
Nope has to be Hoergarden, '64 White, Corona, Sol, Tiger, Kingfisher orrrr another one like Tiger with no fizz that I currently cannot remember the name of ;)
