FragTek is comin' to England baby! w00t w00t!

I'll keep yall posted... Gonna see what the rents decided to do for me but that more than likely will be the best deal in town, and I like how it's actually IN Londan, that makes it convenient.

hey there m8 did you get any quotes yet ? Because i know a place in london bridge ( central london next to thames river ) , cool bunch of guys , you rent the bed and not the room and prices are low as £15 a day. Very close to central london so its easier to travel around and sightseeing. Local bars and the rest are near, night life 3 4 underground stops away.

Check out the link.

Who's willing to bet he'll spend triple that in the first 20 minutes and triple that again by the time the day is up :D :p

jk man, enjoy! (ha, a bit early i suppose, but still)

Flight = BOOKED

Hotel = BOOKED

My flight departs from Washington D.C. @ 10pm Sat. June 17th and arrives at London Heathrow @ 10am.

I've booked myself in for 7 nights at a nice little family run hotel, only ran me 31.50gbp / night! Such a bargain compared to all of the other places I was looking at. Here's a little map of where the hotel is located: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.s...=y&bi=~&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf

And here's the site with a few pix of the place and some directions/info: http://www.uk-expo.com/bnb/eur001.htm

Is that near anyones work place? How far from there to get to where u work Jimbo?

I'm thinking that we should plan an OC3D get together one day while I'm there where everyone that's available in the UK comes and meets in London. Would be an awesome way for us to all get to know each other face to face and be like "WASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAP???" :D

Anyhow yeah, I'm pretty stoked! Now that I have the airfare and lodging booked there's no turning back. London here I come!

LOL I can so see jim and frag getting hella drunk like the PP crew in amsterdam HAHAHAHAH

ur gonna have a blast bro ;)

Jim dont really drink so id ont think he'd get legless tho im sure him and frag would have a fab time. Is this your first trip here then frag? If your hotel accomodation falls thru we have a spare baby cot you can use lol.

ROFL Frag thats about a minute from the dodgy Uni digs I used to live in (opposite Holloway Prison). Not the nicest area of London thats for sure!!

Still I know the area so I can come visit and show you round no problems ;)

Rofl thx Emma! haha

Yup this will be my first trip to England, very excited as I've always wanted to go :)

If Jim doesn't drink then I guess I'll just have to find out where Kemp lives and drink him under the table instead ;) hehe

Where are some places I should check out while I'm there?

haha drink me under tha table :rollingla

Well touristy places that are a must:

The Tower of London

Buckingham Palace

Trafalgar Square

Houses of Parliament

You should really catch a West end show which you can get decent cheap tickets for in Leicester Square.

Covent Garden and Soho are a must for night life. Farringdon is excellent for big clubs.

Harrods in Knightsbridge is a must-see (half decent clothes required ;))

Selfridges on Oxford Street

Be nice to take a look around a couple of the Parks - Regents Park, St James Park, Green Park and Hyde Park

Camden Town is a wicked place to go for some totally random shopping experiences

The Tate and Tate Modern are excellent art gallerires, as is ther National Gallery :)

There's like a ton more and they're only in London!

i have only been to one part of london oxford st and considering i have lived nr london for 21 yrs i have never seen any of the tourist spots ie buck house, the tower or st james park. how sad am i!!!!

Id say come have a peak at Wales, but theres bugger all bar sheep and rain here really. Enless you want to go blad hunting in newport.

i've never been to london, and i live in the UK!!!!

I hear the night life is wicked though, so have a good one mate!
