Very interesting competition.
A new way to motivate the community too.
If you havn't already closed the competition.
I'd like to weigh in with my pitch.
Specs:
ROG maximus VIII Hero
i7 6700k
Strix 980Ti
be quiet! Dark power pro 11, 1000w
16GB corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz RAM
(this is what i have at my disposal)
So what would i do ?
1. Respray the whole case a nice blood red (Inside and out)
2. Go to my lazer cutter and design a power supply shroud in jet black.
3. Cut that design and then cut out the word ''Fractal'' on the facia.
4. Use red perplex and cut out the same word at the same size and fit inside the black facia.
Like this (One of my previous mods)
5. Backlight the facia so the red name fractal is back lit
6. Drill out a hole on the top on both sides big enough to fit two samurai swords.
7. Place samurai swords through holes as if they are stabbed into the case (45c angle). (black and red swords)
8. Cut out another word using the lazer cutter ''DeadPool'' in black twice, once is smaller letters.
9. Place the smaller ''DeadPool'' on the front of the case and the bigger on the side with the window (Just under the window
This is where it gets fun!
10. Place all the components into the case (being black and red it'll look awesome)
11. Vertically mount the GPU like i've done with my current build (See below)
12. Turn it on + Take a lorry load of pictures + Admire.
This would probably take me around a week to complete as i'm currently workin on this
Otherwise it'd take just a few days.
I'm not good with software, and designing renders etc. In fact i'm not even good with a pencil.
I could draw you a stickman and a dog... that's about as far as my drawing goes lol.
But when it comes to painting or modding
I'll leave a few pictures below for ya'll to check out (My previous mods) can also prove as most of them are right in front of me
